Jackie Nicholson

Jackie joined the Partnership as it rebranded to Jarvis Family Law in October 2010, with the objective of managing and developing the business over the coming years.

Jackie was initially trained as a property lawyer in private practice and has been qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives since 1989.

Jackie's career includes many years working within the Plc environment - with London and Manchester Assurance Plc at their Head Office recruiting and managing a legal team, followed by several years with Cheltenham & Gloucester Plc at their Head Office initiating a new legal area processing the legalities relating to properties sold in possession.

This was followed by 10 years with Countrywide Plc, firstly as a partner with Countrywide Property Lawyers developing their Cardiff conveyancing centre from an idea to a successful operation with 90 staff and later as Legal Services Director managing their instruction distribution operation to become the largest business of it's kind in the UK.

Jackie has already developed the business to a position which has necessitated the move to new business premises and the recruitment of an additional 3 solicitors and 3 additional support staff to handle the increased number of new clients who are choosing Jarvis to support them.

Jackie is a keen golfer and is currently trying to reduce her handicap to below 17.
